Ledbury Community Choir (LCC) was founded in 1998 by Steve Tommy as part of the community outreach programme of the John Masefield
High School (JMS).  In 2002, when Steve moved on from his post as Head of Music at JMS, the choir recruited our current conductor Malcolm Hughes who set about recruiting new members, expanding the repertoire and recruiting a skilled accompanist, Mark Johnson. Mal also needed help with the management and administration of the rapidly expanding choir and so in the spring of 2004 LCC was established as a Society with a constitution and a committee.
